We phoned ahead of our visit and as a small party of 4 there was no problem (many winery's only take large party's). We were greeted by Jorge who gave us a wonderful tour round the winery, plenty of time with no rush, shown the vats etc and the wine making process was fully explained. Jorge has really good English and was full of enthusiasm.

A Walking Wine Tour of the Naramata Bench, British Columbia
Lang's Vineyards is a must when touring the wineries on Naramata Bench. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable in the growing of grapes and the production of wine. Very helpful. And the views are wonderful as well! There is a small fee for wine tasting but refunded with purchase.

Lang Vineyards is British Columbia's first farm-gate winery and home to the oldest vines on the Naramata Bench. Lang Vineyards opened its doors in 1990. Guenther Lang and his wife, Kristina, purchased the vineyard when they immigrated to Canada in 1980. Guenther selected the property—high up on the bench—for its excellent soil conditions and micro-climate.

Lang Vineyards. I'm saving my last two favorite Naramata wineries for last! Lang Vineyards was probably the biggest surprise. We hadn't heard much about it, and upon arrival it's one of the least fancy of all the establishments we had been to. But that just meant the wine was incredible!
